Changes brought about by the growth of tourism in Taiwan

Taiwan has been developed into a modern country with high technology due to the growth of tourism. This is because the majority of the tourists wanted to visit a place where is more developed rather than places that are rural.

To attract more tourists to Taiwan, Taiwan needs an outstanding landmark that can represent Taiwan and bring Taiwan to the world. Therefore, Taipei 101 was built in Taipei, capital of Taiwan in the year 2004. Taipei 101 is the first skyscraper and the highest tower in the world for 5 years until the Burj Khalifa in Dubai is opened this year.

Besides that, tourism also changes most of the indigenous people life in Taiwan. To introduce Taiwan to the world, Taiwan knows that the people and the natural environment is their assets therefore, Taiwan bring their unique indigenous people to the world. Instead of on singing and dancing during their festival celebration, the indigenous peoples are performing their culture dances and songs on staged setting to meet the tourists’ demand.

Taiwanese know that they have to broadcast their music to the world in order to attract more tourists to Taiwan. Once the Taiwan’s music is shared to the world, many people who like their music will get to know Taiwan and they will go to Taiwan to watch their idol’s concert and buy their idol’s album.
